PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve controllability of an electronically controlled needle valve in a small flow rate area. SOLUTION: A compressor, a four-way valve, an outdoor heat exchanger, an electronic controlled needle valve and a room heat exchanger are connected by a refrigerant pipe to form a refrigerating cycle for circulating a refrigerant. The electronically controlled needle valve 16 has a valve body 16a and a maximum taper angle part 16d which is formed at the maximum taper angleθ3 to be seated on a valve seat 16b when a valve port 16c is fully closed, a small taper angle part 16e which is formed at a taper angleθ1 smaller than the taper angle of the maximum taper angle part and a minimum taper angle part 16f which is formed at a taper angleθ2 at the minimum taper angle between both the taper angle parts are arranged successively on the valve body 16.
