PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject aloe juice containing an alkali metal ion and/or an alkaline earth metal ion and capable of being stored without adding a chemical agent such as an antioxidant or a preservative. SOLUTION: This aloe juice is obtained by washing aloe leaves with water, crushing the washed aloe leaves preferably into a size of approximately 5-10mm, squeezing the leaf pieces, mixing 1 liter of the obtained aloe juice with approximately 10-15 mineral granules having a size of approximately 5-10mm, such as zeolite stones or granules, preferably at a temperature of approximately 80 deg.C in order to extract active cations from the mineral for a short time, filtering off the small leaf pieces, etc., and subsequently subjecting the filtrate to a sterilization treatment. |
