The pneumatic spring suspension consists of bellows (3) and a unit with air control valve (4) to regulate the height level of the vehicle body, positioned between body and chassis. The height level of the rail vehicle body is determined by a level detector (6), which transmits an electronic measuring signal to an electronic control unit (5). The valve is formed as an electropneumatic valve.
