Solar-powered salt water desalination boiler heated by parabolic mirror

In a desalination assembly: (a) preheated salt or brackish water (1) is desalinated in a circular boiler with a convex base and top heated by sunlight focused by a parabolic mirror; (b) the double-walled top incorporates a coiled cooling tube and is detachable from the base; (c) the rate of condensation (2) is accelerated in the top with discharge from a collecting gully; (d) brine (3) resulting from distillation is removed before reaching saturation point, preventing the formation of salt crystals in the boiler; (e) the flow of all three fluid media is interdependently controlled; (f) the resulting brine is subsequently deposited in open basins for final evaporation and production of salt.
