Microprocessor monitoring and alarm system

The microprocessor system is used to monitor the time elapsed functions of a number of users of relevant equipment and issues acoustic or visual alarms when limits are exceeded . A typical case is that of breathing respirators used by fire fighting personnel for which the system monitors the use of bottled oxygen. Input and output of data to the system can be by keyboard, barcode, transponders, smart cards, etc.
