PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a height variable stairs by which stairs walking training can be efficiently and without anxiety carried out. SOLUTION: A height variable stairs is made up of a ceiling plate 1, at least a pair of quadrilateral link mechanisms 10 for elevatably supporting the ceiling plate, and a controller 4 for changing the inclination of the quadrilateral link mechanisms 10; and the quadrilateral link mechainism 10 is made up of link supports 2 that are pivotally supported by the ceiling plate and extended obliquely downward, a seat base part 5 that is fitted to the lower parts of the link supports 2, and at least one sheet of tread 3 to be pivotally supported by the link supports 2 so as to be situated between the ceiling plate and the seat base part 5; and the quadrilateral link mechanism 10 is made up of the right and left quadrilateral link mechanisms 10a and 10b extended right and left downward in an open leg shape making a top of the ceiling plate, and the open leg angle made by the right and left quadrilateral link mechanisms 10a and 10b is changed by the controller 4. |
