PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the outlet angle of a blade-shaped vane by giving priority to increase of efficiency of a compressor or increase of the operating range. SOLUTION: A plurality of blade-shaped vanes 7a to 7c (7) to be circumferentially installed at the prescribed interval are manufactured on a diffuser passage positioned outward in the radial direction of an impeller of a centrifugal compressor. The inlet angleθof the blade-shaped vane 7 the throat area are determined according to the design point, the inlet angleθand the throat area are maintained, the outlet anglesα,β,γof the blade-shaped vanes are made larger when priority is given to a surge margin, and the outlet anglesα,β,γof the blade-shaped vanes are made smaller when priority is given to efficiency.
