PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a steel cord for a rubber elastic material so as not to generate a stress concentration at a specific part of the steel cord. SOLUTION: This steel cord for a rubber elastic material having a 2+1 structure obtained by rotating one filament F3 around two non twisted filaments F1, F2, is obtained by setting; (filament diameter)×(cord twisting pitch, P3)=2.0-5.0.
