IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE, DISPLAY POSITION ADJUSTMENT METHOD AND DISPLAY POSITION ADJUSTMENT PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device, an image position adjustment method and an image position adjustment program by which position adjustment of each optical image is appropriately and easily performed.

SOLUTION: The image display device 1 which is provided with a light source and a plurality of optical modulators which modulate an optical flux emitted from the light source according to image information to form optical images and displays the images by overlapping at least a part of the optical images is provided with a control means 4 for controlling the image display device 1 and a transfer means 22 for transferring positions of the optical images. The control means 4 is provided with: a characteristic acquisition part 44 which acquires characteristics of the optical images; a reference image setting part 45 which uses any of the optical images as a reference image and a transfer means control part 46 which transfers other optical images formed by optical modulators different from an optical modulator which forms the reference image according to positions of pixels constituting the reference image by the transfer means 22.
