PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch to be used by an elevator caretaker which precludes misoperation certainly and allows the caretaket to handle easily. SOLUTION: Each elevator car 10 is equipped with an illumination light 11 and ventilation fan 12, and a power supply 15 is installed in a machine room 14. Swiches 21 and 22 for the light 11 and fan 12 are furnished in a caretaker's room 17. Because the switches 21 and 22 conventionally installed together with a number of maintenance switches are located separately in the caretaker's room 17, there is no risk of his committing misoperation, i.e., touching wrong switches, or he is no more required to go to the elevator car for operating necessary switches 21 and 22. |
