WEAR FOR SPEED SKATE COMPETITION

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wear for a speed skate competition capable of reducing a fluid resistance of the wear against air and also improving the catching by a skate edge by increasing landing load in the pivot leg side. SOLUTION: This wear for a speed skate competition has many ribs 5 for regulating air flow, stretching in the direction to be horizontal in the playing posture and installed like ridges on the surface of the body side parts of the wear. Further, a structure for changing air flow is constituted by forming a part of the ribs 5 into a bent type having rear end bent to oblique upper or lower sides of the ribs 5 by forming direction-changing ribs 9 succeeding thereto to enforce the change of the air flow direction to increase the landing load in the pivot leg side.
