PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricant compsn. for refrigerators, which is excellent in compatibility with a mixed refrigerant substituting for R22 and has improved wear resistance and chemical stability by compounding a base oil contg. an ester compd. with a specific phophorus compd. and a specific glycidyl compd. SOLUTION: This compsn. comprises a base oil (A) contg., as the main component, an ester compd. (e.g. a polyol ester or a dicarboxylic ester), 0.01-10wt.% (based on the based oil) phosphorus compd. (B) represented by formula I (wherein R<1> to R<4> are each a 1-30C hydrocarbon group; R<5> is a 2-4C alkylene; and X is 1-20) (e.g. tetratridecyl diethylene glycol diphosphite), and 0.1-20wt.% (based on the base oil) glycidly compd. (C), esp. pref. a glycidyl ester of an arom. carboxylic acid represented by formula III (wherein R8 is a 6-20C aryl; and (n) is 1 or 2). This compsn. is used in refrigerators using a hydrofluoroalkane or a fluorinated ether as the refrigerant. |
