PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit an automobile from starting during the remote starting of an engine by idling an engine immediately before a door is locked by operation of a remote controller, and then permitting the remote start of the engine. SOLUTION: When an engine is started by manual operation, manual engine start is detected by a manual engine start detecting means 21, and normal vehicle driving is conducted. After the end of driving, an engine key is pulled out, and when an engine stop switch 34 is turned on within designated time, the engine is stopped by a control means 11 and the control means 11 is operated in such a manner as to inhibit the next engine remote start. On the other hand, when a keyless door locking signal is received before the lapse of designated time, the door is locked through a door locking mechanism 33. At this time, when closing of the door of a vehicle is detected by a door sensor 25, the control means 11 is operated to permit the next engine remote start. |
