PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viscous fluid coupling device wherein a viscous fluid can be efficiently collected to a storage chamber side. SOLUTION: A device is formed so as to provide a drive shaft connected to a drive source, a housing supported capable of relatively rotating to the drive shaft to have an internal space, a plate 18 partitioning the internal space into a storage chamber 16 and a work chamber 17, a communication hole connecting the storage chamber 16 and the work chamber 17, valve means capable of opening/closing the communication hole, a temperature sensing member provided in the outside of the housing to be capable of turning the valve means in accordance with a temperature, a rotor 19 formed integrally with the drive shaft arranged in the work chamber 17, a pump protrusion 26 formed through a space with the rotor 19 in a peripheral part of the plate 18, and a pump hole 27 provided in the upstream in a rotational direction of the rotor 19 of the pump protrusion 26 also formed along from the upstream in the rotational direction of the rotor 19 to the downstream in accordance with going toward a storage chamber side from a work chamber side. |
