PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a standardized expansion valve drive device even to different indoor untis by calculating the target opening degrees of the electronic expansion valves of indoor units in an outdoor unit and controlling the electronic expansion valves based on the calculated target opening degrees in the indoor units. SOLUTION: In an outdoor unit, the target opening degrees of electronic expansion valves are calculated and written in a memory 6. During a cooling operation, the outdoor unit 1 side distributes the target opening degrees of the electronic expansion valves based on the ratio of capacity codes of indoor units transmitted from indoor units 2A and 2B and stores them in memories 16A and 16B as the target opening degree value data of electronic expansion valves 14A and 14B. In the respective indoor unit side, the received target opening degree values are compared with current data on memories 13A and 13B. When a difference is plus, the electronic expansion valves 14A and 14B are driven to open and when it is minus, they are driven to close. Target opening degree values newly received from the outdoor unit are stored in memories 13A and 13B. |
