<p>A casting manufacturing apparatus capable of sealing joint surfaces of metallic dies without the use of any packing material. The casting manufacturing apparatus comprises at least two-split metallic dies (1, 2) constructed to define a cavity (5), an introduction port (6) formed on one of the ends of the metallic dies for introduction of a molten metal into the cavity, and a discharge port (9) formed on the other ends of the metallic dies for discharging of the air contained in the cavity. Grooves (11) are provided around a defining portion of the cavity on at least one of the respective joint surfaces on the at least two-split metallic dies to connect the introduction port and the discharge port to each other.</p> |
