<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storing device initializing a storing area without generating a difference between necessary time until storage completion and making a user to recognize a waiting time. SOLUTION: After turning a power source key or switching to a video recording mode (B1), an attribute in the n-th storing area of a flash memory is checked (B4). When the attribute is the waiting of erasing, the storing area is initialize-processed (B6). In addition, by the repeating of processing from attribute check (B4), a prescribed number of storing areas are initialized in the flash memory. By processing according to this flow, as the initializing processing of the storing area of the flash memory is executed just after the turning ON of the power source or just after switching from a reproducing mode to the video recording mode, initialization is not executed at the time of storing picture data to the storing area of the flash memory. Then, time necessitated from operating a video fetching key to the finish of the storing of picture data becomes always constant.</p> |
