PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly judge whether a designation can be arrived earlier by traveling a bypass route than by traveling an initially searched route having a traffic snarl in the middle by searching the bias route between two fixed points on a basic route, and calculating and displaying the distance of the bypass route. SOLUTION: A basic route searching means 21 searches a basic route on the basis of the own car position information by a GPS receiver 13, designation information and map information. A bypass route searching means 23 searches a bypass route for bypassing it between two fixed points on the basis route. A bypass distance arithmetic means 24 calculates the distance of the bypass route. A display means 32 displays the distance between two fixed points of the basic route and the distance of the bypass route in conformation to each other, and displays a road with traffic snarl or blocked road in distinction from the display of a road with no traffic snarl or non-blocked road. Thus, it can be immediately judged whether a designation can be arrived earlier by traveling a bypass route than by traveling a basic route having a traffic snarl in the middle. |
