The emergency generator control installation accepts alarms from fire detectors (12) and is connected to an alarm centre. A programmable controller (14) has a suitable management program stored in memory. A display (15) has a stored display control program. Two relays (19,20) deliver information on two output terminals (21,22). One is for neutralisation of security devices and the other for a cyclic test program, in which the generator unit is started every six hours to test its operation. A printer is used to record actions and results. The control installation is contained in a cabinet placed either adjacent to the generator unit or remotely from it. |
