摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery having high energy in high potential operation and being excellent in its cycle characteristic by mixing LiNi1- XCoXO2 as an inorganic active material and conduction assistant such as carbon being an electric conductor into an electrode by use of conductive polymer. SOLUTION: By use of an electrode active material where LiNi1- XCoXO2 (active material 2) and a conductive assistant are mixed into at least one kind of conductive high polymer material (active material 1), an electrode is provided to have the characteristics of high energy density with a small quantity, excellent collecting and moldability which are not provided in an inorganic material. The ratio between Ni and Co is effective in the case of range 0<=x<=0.5, and the ratio of the material 2 is preferably 40-99wt.% in the whole weight of active material mixed in while the ratio of conductive assistant is preferably 0.4-20wt.% Accordingly, the secondary battery is provided that has high energy density in high potential operatiuon and excellent cycle characteristic.
