PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing mechanism for an image forming device capable of eliminating irregularities in an image and using a material which can not be used from a working accuracy aspect in a conventional manner, at low production costs. SOLUTION: A pressure roll 2 is driven and a heating roll 1 is rotated by contact with the pressure roll 2 by a biasing means. When the pressure roll 2 is driven, its temp. is detected by a temperature sensor 8. Control is executed to fix a toner image 7 on a transfer material 6 when the temp. of the pressure roll 2 becomes almost constant. Thus, the speed of the transfer material 6 in a fixing part can be almost constant, regardless of the accuracy of the outside diameter of the heating roll 1. |
