The system is for a gear pump lubricated by the medium delivered. A housing (G) contains two or more plain bearings (L) for lubricated spindles (W). A medium (M) is brought to a predetermined temperature in a control unit (TA). The medium is fed to one or more housing sections, and to the spindles and/or bearings, and the flow through them can take place in parallel. Alternatively, the spindles and bearings can be lubricated first, after which the medium flows through the housing section.
