High-permeability adsorption filter material for e.g. automobile interior ventilation

Method for manufacturing a highly air-permeable adsorption filter material which can be folded is claimed. A highly air-permeable textile substrate material having adhesive deposited at points is coated with grains or spheres of activated carbon. This is carried out such that across the run of the material, narrow, strip-shaped recesses are formed, which facilitate folding. Also claimed is use of the material to make a folded filter.
