ELECTROSTATIC ACOUSTIC CONVERTER AND METHOD FOR ITS MANUFACTURING

FIELD: instruments for echo- sounding devices. SUBSTANCE: device has base, which is made from fabric laminate and which is connected to stationary metal electrode. Upper part of base and stationary electrode provide single spherical surface. Spherical surface of metal electrode has concentric rectangular grooves with equal step and equal section area. Mobile film electrode, which is made from metallized Dacron film, is mounted above stationary metal electrode and is attached to base along perimeter. Contact to mobile electrode is achieved by means of metal ring which is covered by protection film which is located above mobile electrode. Edges of grooves are rounded. Concentric rectangular grooves are cut on spherical surface of stationary metal electrode. Then stationary electrode is mounted on base and spherical surface of stationary electrode is adjusted to base surface by means of grinding powder until single spherical surface is achieved and grooves become rounded. Mobile film electrode is stretched in mandrel. Glue is spread along perimeter of base and spherical surface of base with stationary electrode is applied over mobile film electrode.
