PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, whose durability against vibration and impact, and productivity are enhanced by improving a conventional nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with respect to the shaking of an electrode element without preparing a large number of kinds of spacers of different thicknesses. SOLUTION: In this nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, the core 1 of an electrode element 4 and a spacer 100 made of an elastic material to prevent formation of a gap at the root of the inserted pole 6 of the core 1 are inserted during battery assembly. Therefore, no gap is formed between the electrode element 4 and the pole 6, the electrode element 4 can be prevented from being moved by vibration or impact, and battery failures due to vibration or impact can be prevented. |
