PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting device of an optical head capable of performing excellent focusing compensation and tracking compensation by making an objective lens hardly cause skew deviation even when the device is used for a long time by using an elastic plate not generating creep. SOLUTION: A wiring board 16 is stuck to a metallic reinforcing plate 17 and the fixing part 17a of the metallic reinforcing plate 17 is fixed to the projected part 13a of a supporting member 13. Since a gapδ1 is provided between a free end part 17b on both sides and the stepped recessed part 13b of the supporting member 13, the free end part 17b is elastically deformable in the direction of Z axis and the twisting direction. Since creep does not generated in the metallic reinforcing plate 17 even exerted by depressing force for a long period and the inclination of a movable member 12 does not increased, the increase of the skew deviation of the objective lens 11 is prevented. Thus, excellent compensating operation of the objective lens is enabled for a long time.
