摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to well maintain working environment without the need for applying talc powder, etc., on the surfaces of the coated optical fiber ribbons by uniformly disposing UV curing resin particles into an integral coating layer (matrix) which is the outermost layer, thereby forming surface projections. SOLUTION: The UV curing resin particles 6 are nearly uniformly dispersed into the matrix 7 consisting of the UV curing resin in the integral coating layer 8 which is the outermost layer. In such a case the average particle size of the UV curing resin particles 6 is specified to 3 to 10μm. These UV curing resin particles 6 form the surface projections. The average grain size and mixing ratio of the UV curing resin particles 6 are properly adjusted, by which the adequate surface roughness is obtd. Namely, the contact area between the surface of the integral coating layer and the outside (bobbin, etc.) decreases and the friction resistance therebetween is lowered. As a result, lubricity is imparted to the surfaces of the coated optical fiber ribbons 10.
