The tool consists coaxially of an exterior sleeve (3), a closing grip shaft (4), and a closing grip (5) in part made from an elastic material. Part of the shaft and the grip is inserted inside their respective positions in the sleeve. The sleeve is provided with a handle (6) via. which it cooperates with a liaison piece (36) to turn it and longitudinally move it. This liaison piece cooperates with the shoulder (52) of the grip (5) and the part (37) makes contact with the tapered shoulder (53). The shaft (4) has a drive head (43) working independently with the sleeve (3) which via the part (51) of the grip (5) actuates the grip in translation. The grip (5) has a housing (54) for locating on the rod of the arbour so that in rotating the shaft (4) in relation to the sleeve (3), produces a displacement of the grip (5) and modifies its clamping.
