PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load of IC card check processing and to simplify its processing by referring to a flag to select an application program to be executed and successively updating the contents of the flag. SOLUTION: An IC card 1 is constituted so as to select either one of application programs 5a, 5b to be executed by referring to a flag, and at the time of receiving a switching command for switching the contents of the flag from a terminal equipment or receiving no command for a prescribed period, the content of the flag are successively updated. When the IC card 1 is loaded, a reset signal is sent, and when identification information in response information received from the card 1 after sending the reset signal is not for the IC card 1 to be processed by the system itself, a switching command is generated and then a reset signal is sent again. When the identification information is for the IC card 1 to be processed by the system itself, a prescribed command is sent. |
