PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain uninterruptible hand-over communication for a mobile equipment of the direct sequence code division multiplex (DS-CDMA) system with a simple configuration with respect to the mobile communication system and its equipment. SOLUTION: The system is provided with asynchronous base stations BS1, 2 and a mobile equipment MS1 having inverse spread sections DSPD1, 2 that conduct initial synchronization and maintenance with different codes as to reception signals of a same frequency, and in the case that the MS1 in communication with the BS1 transits an idle channel with the same frequency as that of the BS2, the DSPD1 is used to continue the communication with the BS1, the DSPD2 is used to take initial synchronization for an idle channel of the BS 2, then the communication of the DSPD1 is switched to the communication of the DSPD2. In the case that the MS1 in communication with the BS1 transits to an idle channel of a different frequency of the BS2, at first the communication with the BS1 by the DSPD1 is shifted in the station to an optional idle channel of a frequency of a transfer destination to continue the communication and the DSPD2 is used to take initial synchronization to an idle channel of the BS2 and the communication of the DSPD1 is switched to the communication of the DSPD2. |
