<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically select the offered data contents in response to the processing capability of the data receiving destination and the circuit state for use of a WWW(world wide web) server. SOLUTION: A server 103 includes a terminal attribute part 303 which collects the capability characteristics of a client, a circuit control part 302 which collects the circuit velocities, etc. A data attribute setting part 310 sets the suitable type and quantity of data to be sent to the client at a profile 311 based on the collected client information. A data transmission agent 308 refers to a correspondence table 309 to select the data of a suitable quantity out of the offered data 301 and to send them to the client.</p> |
