<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect abnormality of motor fan with a low cast structure. SOLUTION: An apparatus for detecting abnormality of a cooling motor fan to be mounted in a vehicle is provided with a detecting means 4 for detecting a positive terminal potential of a terminal-to-terminal voltage of a motor 1 of motor fan and a discriminating means 12 for discriminating between normality and abnormality by the detected terminal potential or terminal- to-terminal voltage. For example, a resistor 3 is provided between the positive terminal of motor and the power supply and the discriminating means 12 judges that a motor fan is abnormal when the terminal potential or terminal-to-terminal voltage goes under the predetermined value while a motor fan driving signal is output.</p> |
