PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device whose developing speed is high and by which the reproducibility of a fine line can be improved. SOLUTION: This device 10 has a carrying means for carrying a photosensitive plate material 3 on which a relief image is exposed, and a brush 1 for removing the unexposed part or the exposed part of the material 3; the brush 1 is divided into four blocks 21 to 24, and the outside diameter of a fiber constituting the brushing unit 13 of the brush 1 in the respective blocks 21 to 24 becomes thinner on the downstream side of the carrying means than on an upstream side. The outside diameter of the fiber constituting each unit 13 is large on the upstream side along the carrying direction of the material 3, and small on the downstream side; therefore, the surface of the material 3 is roughly scraped on the upstream side, and a fine thin line pattern part is sufficiently scraped on the downstream side. |
