PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a gain of a polygonal line part and a break point, independently and optionally in the case of realizing the polygonal line characteristic in an input and output characteristic of the gain variable amplifier. SOLUTION: The amplifier is provided with gain variable amplifier circuits 400, 500 which independently control a current gain for each current direction converted from an input voltage, with a break point setting circuit 300 that compares the current converted from the input voltage with a current to set the break point, provides an output of a difference of a current when the current converted from the input voltage is larger and provides an output of zero when the current converted from the input voltage is smaller. Thus, a voltage gain of a polygonal line part A and a voltage gain at the polygonal line B are respectively and optionally set, and break points a, b are optionally set, independently of the voltage gain. |
