PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the labor of a staff, to exactly register customer information, and to cancel the unsatisfactory point of a service to a customer by registering the image of the facial photograph of the customer by storing image data including the read facial photograph and analyzed character information in each printing medium. SOLUTION: An image scanner is controlled for reading the image of a driver's license, and the read image data are fetched in an RAM 13. When this scanner reading processing is ended, the position information of each item of the driver's license is called from a position information area 16-1 of a hard disk device 16. Then, character data such as a driver's license number are fetched from the read image data in the RAM 13 as text data based on the called position information. The obtained text data and the image data of the driver's license are registered in a customer's file. That is, both the image of the driver's license and the customer information described on this can be registered only by executing the reading operation by the image scanner. |
