The present invention relates to a container with a built in spout (17) and a cutting appliance pertaining thereto, comprising at least one cutting member in order to cut an opening in the container wall. In order to design a container with a built in spout or bleed, which also allows liquid to be removed in sterile conditions over long periods and causes fewer problems with regard to disposal of said container, the invention suggests that the container should have a relatively thin wall (2) which can be hand cut using a knife. On the container wall a spout closure is welded to the spout (17) on the inner side of the container. The cutting appliance comprises a centering member (2) which is connected to the cutting element (1), can be brought to engage with part of the container wall or with a section connected to the container wall, e.g. a container closure, and which can be be moved along the arc of a circle for the axis (4) defined by engagement of the centering member (2) with the container wall or the part connected thereto. |
