<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input picture display device where a few key pictures become one combination even if a few key pictures are displayed in comparative ly large areas on the narrow display screen of a small portable computer and plural characters becoming an obstacle for data input work can properly be displayed in one keyboard picture when they are displayed on plural keyboard screens by dividing them and to provide the method. SOLUTION: The first keyboard picture 302 displayed for inputting the Roman characters of a Japanese sentence has 51 keys except for a return key. In contains the keys to which 24 alphabets except for characters (q) and (l), numeric characters (0-9) and 17 marks which are frequently used for inputting Japanese are added. For making Japanese input to be convenient, frames are added to vowels so as to make it conspicuous. A second keyboard picture 302 contains the keys to which the other marks which are frequently used at the time of Japanese input are added. In the first and second keyboards 302, an operational device that the key of [bold type Japanese (''), (...), (.), and (,)] are arranged at the back of [Japanese style quotation mark (''), (-), Japanese (.) and (,)] is given.</p> |
