<p>The base of the box has an external peripheral hooked portion whose cross-section at right angles to the base is a U with unequal arms, the longer one of which is joined to the base, and preferably integral with it. The shorter arm extends upwards, and leaves a free space between its end and the base edge. The sidewalls have, at their lower edges, curved claws engaging in these free spaces, also ribs at the corners of the box extending outwards and running for the full wall height. There are a series of eyes on each rib, fitting in openings in the ribs of the adjacent sidewalls, and offset in the vertical direction in relation to the eyes on the latter ribs. A pin is inserted through the eyes of each contiguous pair of ribs, to secure their respective sidewalls together.</p> |
