Installation for the insertion of containers such as phials or ampoules into a storage pack or similar receptacle uses a conveyor worm drive. The storage magazine (3) in positioned at right angles to the axis (5) of the conveyor worm (1). The angle of incline (6) of the worm conveyor (1) is reduced to about zero within the area of about 180 degrees of the circumference near the throw out point (7) of the phials (2). The depth of the worm gear is led to zero as against the worm drive's outer diameter at the throw out point of the phials.
