PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic money system in which the forgery of money data or the like can be effectively prevented, and illegal transaction can be easily detected. SOLUTION: In an electronic money system which transacts electronic money by using an electronic money card 19 for storing electronic money having a money value, the electronic money card 19 is provided with an IC part 20 and an optical storage part 21. Information for specifying the electronic money card 19, balance, and information for performing access to the optical storage part 21 or the like are recorded in the IC part 20, and the whole history of the transaction of the electronic money executed by using the electronic money card is recorded in the optical storage part 21. The transaction history is registered also in the computer of the electronic money transaction system. Thus, illegality occurrence parts and sum or the like can be detected, by tracing the transaction history. |
