CHAIN LINK AND ENERGY-CONVEYING CHAIN WITH LOCKABLE CROSS BEAM

The invention concerns a chain link for an energy-conveying chain. The chain link comprises two opposite link plates (2) which are at a mutual spacing, and at least one cross beam (5). The cross beam (5) comprises at both ends a detachable hinge (10) which can be connected to the link plate (2). The cross beam (5) can be locked to the link plate (2). In order to lock the cross beam (5) to the link plate (2), the hinge (10) comprises a hinge pin (7) and a recess (15) which co-operates with the latter and has undercuts (14). The hinge pin (7) comprises a locking projection (9) which engages in a cut-out (16) extending over part of the periphery of the recess (15).
