Latching/breaker mechanism e.g. for circuit-breaker

A breaker or latching mechanism for opening and closing of contacts of a switching device including a bent or armed lever (3) for actuating the latching mechanism, a latch lever (5) and an intermediate lever (4), on which the armed or bent lever (3) is latched in the ON-position, in which at the same time latching of the inter-level (4) takes place by the latch lever (5) to give release. The bent/armed lever (3) moves the latch lever (5) following its release into its open position and maintains this position during the released condition. In the latter condition, no effective connection exists between the inter-lever (4) and the armed lever.
