A liq. filter, esp. a fuel filter for combustion engines, comprises a housing contg. a ring filter element through which the liq. flows radially. The filter element has a ring shaped plate on one side and a central supply pipe on the other side. The primary plate (4) consists of a plastic material and has a ring collar (15) which surrounds the central pipe (13).The end plate opening pref. has a supply funnel section (16) for the central pipe.
