The housing (2) comprises a multi-way valve (4) via which the hydraulic equipment can be connected to a pump and a second valve (6) which can connect an outlet connection (40) of the multi-way valve to a connection (A,B) of the valve housing. When the valve housing is used in a system for the control of single or double acting users, at least one connecting channel (96,78) can be opened or closed from the outside.
