<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To staple paper obliquely at both end parts using one motor and make a stapling position deep in case of oblique stapling. SOLUTION: A stapler 26 and a driving belt 37 are connected at a joint part 41, and the stapler 26 is moved along a guide rail 32 into a specified position by the driving belt 37 so as to staple paper in each specified position. In a sheet aftertreatment device of such constitution, at least one end part of the guide rail 32 is provided with inclined parts 32b, 32c inclined onto the paper side, and the driving belt 37 is stretched corresponding to the guide rail 32 by a plurality of rollers 35a-35e. The guide rail 32 is formed in such shape that the joint part 41 is spaced from the rollers 35b, 35c positioned at inflection points of the driving belt 37 at the time of the joint part 41 passing the rollers 35b, 35c, positioned at the inflection points, out of a plurality of rollers.</p> |
