DERIVATIVE OF SYNTHETIC AMINOSUGARS AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sugar-containing compound useful as a medical material or a cosmetic material. SOLUTION: This derivative of synthetic aminosugars is obtained by converting at least another saccharide through at least a part of amino groups of polysaccharides and/or oligosaccharides containing an aminosugar as a constituent sugar into the derivative. The method for producing the derivative of the synthetic aminosugars comprises bonding reducible terminal groups formed by oxidatively opening the ring at the reducing terminal of other saccharides to amino group of the aminosugar.
