<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonpoisonous metal corrosion inhibitor not polluting environment and exhibiting a metal corrosion inhibiting effect when added to an aq. system even in a small amt. SOLUTION: At least three kinds of monomers among (meth)acrylic acid and/or its monovalent metal, bivalent metal, ammonim and/or org. amine salt units, (meth)acrylamide unit and (meth)acryloylmorpholine unit are copolymerized to obtain a water-soluble copolymer contg. 5-90wt.% (meth)acrylic acid and/or its salt unit, 5-50wt.% (meth)acrylamide unit and 5-50wt.% (meth) acryloylmorpholine unit. The copolymer is added to an aq. system such as a closed circulating cooling water system, an open circulating cooling water system, a heated circulating water system and a boiler water system in an effective amt. and used as a metal corrosion inhibitor in the aq. system.</p> |
