FIELD: equipment for magnetic recording. SUBSTANCE: plates of magnetically soft material are glued to packet by means of epoxy resin glues and dried under high pressure and temperature. Plates of glued packets are connected by means of weld joint before electric erosion cutting. When cores are cut from packets by means of electric erosion cutting, burnt-off layer is removed (plates are disconnected) along core shape by means of etching in solution, which has 13% of HCl, 11% of HNO3, 7% of H2SO4, water is the rest, under temperature of 25-30 C for 10-12 minutes in ultrasound of 18-22 kHz frequency and 1-1.5 W/cm intensity. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities.
