<p>Several portions of the intron regions surrounding exons (8, 15, 18, 20, 21 and 23) of BRCA1 and their adjacent intronic regions have been corrected. The corrections make it possible to construct oligonucleotide primers which are able to amplify the exons with greater fidelity than was previously possible, and which are particularly useful in amplifying sequences for CDGE to detect mutations in the BRCA1 gene.</p> |
