Electrical spring metal-strip contact

The spring contact is formed from a metal band and fitted to the end of an insulated electrical conductor for providing an electrical connection with a contact tongue provided by the metal band. A series of line contacts (2a) extend along the base (3) of the metal band parallel to one another, at 90 degrees to the longitudinal axis (10) and are coupled together to provide a U-shaped clamp body with the line contacts facing inwards.
